Please meet very special friends of mine from almost 30 years ago, Stella Duru and Busola Odusanya. We all met in Queen’s College Lagos and they went on to study law at the University of Lagos and Nigerian Law School in Abuja. Busola went on to obtain an LLM at Harvard Law School.
They are both brilliant legal minds and I thought it would be great to get their independent perspectives on a career in law from the outside counsel and in-house standpoints. Stella has been at a top Nigerian law firm for almost two decades and is a Partner there in the oil & gas practice. She aspires to be the Minister of Power in Nigeria one day and I can’t wait for that day to come.
Busola is a Senior Attorney with one of the International Oil Companies and has worked there well over a decade following a career in a law firm.
